Happy New Year! I'm out with AJ and friends! Thank you so much for being the greatest fans ever and for your awesome support! 2009 is going to ROCK and we know it! We are writing a record that is definitely worth your wait...We are feeling great about the progress and good things are never rushed. We have put our hearts, minds and souls into this record and are so excited for you all to hear it. As our good friends from London say...It's gonna be "MENTAL!"

Hope you're all having a day filled with happiness and thanksgiving! We're actually home this year with the family which has been nice. We cooked such a yummy dinner. Our turkey's better than your turkey! Ha! We are so grateful to those of you who have been with us since the beginning as well as everyone who may have just stumbled upon us. You all mean so much to us and we are blessed to have such smart, kind, and enthusiastic fans! Get some rest cuz 09 is gonna be ridiculous and we need your support and love.

Hey guys!!!....its been awhile since I've last blogged solo...haha. I have been crazy busy in and out of the studio writing and recording. We are really taking our time and not rushing this new album. Thankfully we've been drinking lots of Pom juice and eating way too much halloween candy in between vocals so we are staying well balanced...lol. I recently saw a screening of Bandslam...and it looks great! I honestly walked out of the theater with a big smile on my face. I think ur gonna be stoked. The official release date has now been changed to July 31st.
Uhhh can I just be random and say how much do u loooove the kevin rudolph lil wayne song? Let it Rock!.....ahhh so genius. Ok just had to say that. Now where were we...?...oh, I know its FALL!! So happy that its finally here!! Now i can cozy up indoors and see scary movies and roast marshmallows and light pumpkin candles..... absolutely my favorite time of year. Hope u are all enjoying it as much as I am. Until the next solo blog xoxo aly

Hey guys! So sorry we haven't blogged in a bit, we suck hehe We've been up to some really cool stuff recently that's been keeping us effing busy :)
Went to the Teen Vogue party a couple weeks ago, caught up with some friends we hadn't seen in a long time. The dresses we wore we're probably one of our fav red carpet looks, wore Luella, such a great designer. Went to the Esquire party for Rock The Vote, had a great time. We'll post a picture or two soon.
This upcoming election is super important. Aly will be able to vote for the first time :) For any of you who are old enough, make sure you register to vote! Attended the AmberWatch event where we passed on the gavel to Selena Gomez as the new chairman for the youth coalition. We are now apart of the celebrity coalition. Such a great charity, means a lot to us!
We've kind of been on a concert buzz lately. Went to The Raconteurs show a couple weeks ago with a friend & our lead guitar player. Amazing show.
Jack White is insanely talented as well as the other guys in the band.
Last night we saw Cheap Trick, Heart & Journey at the Greek. They all killed it. Nothing like some classic music. Need more! Headed to NY soon for lots of editor meetings. Haven't been there in awhile, It'll be fun.

Hey everyone!...sorry we've been so lame lately with not blogging. We promise to put up some pics and videos we took while in aruba. We had such an amazing time and met some really nice people on the island as well as on the Disney Cruise which we performed on! We are back to work in the studio finishing up writing and look forward to starting production in the next month or so. AJ and I are a lil under the weather but we have been trying to rest as much as possible. Had our butts kicked today by our trainer larry....he's rad. We call him jedi master. Haha!
Anyways we hope everyone had a great start to the school year and we love u all!

Wow, I have to say some of our most enthusiastic and generous fans come from Japan. We were so warmly welcomed there, from the many Hello Kitty gifts we received to the people we met and sang karaoke with.....they even had Potential Breakup Song there as one of the songs to choose! Haha Thank you to every single person that came to see us during our stay. Next time we come back....we will certainly stay longer and explore even more of your beautiful country...lots of hugs! Between living in So. Cal, hangin' out poolside, jet skiing in Malibu and spending time on our boat we've had no need for fake tans! Honestly, AJ and I are just a 'lil offended by some of the comments made after attending the T-Mobile Sidekick Party. We've been workin' pretty damn hard on these tans...With us being musicians you don't see the light of day much! So for all the Haters out there STFU! And for the supporters...Rock Your Tans Proudly! :D
P.S. We're about to get darker...leaving for Aruba soon!

Wow todays show at the Chicago Fest was amazing...8500 ppl came! Thank u so much for making it a great end to our summer tour. Off to celebrate with the band and crew right now. We fly back home tomorrow to continue writing for the next album and preparing ourselves for a massive year in 2009....I promise it will kick a**!!!! love u guys. Xo aly

Detroit Rock Citaaaaay!...I love saying that. Just played the taste fest in Michigan. Thanks to all of u for comin out to support. Hope u had an awesome 4th of july! I certainly did. We gotta watch some amazing fireworks...kinda tripped me out.HA! On our way to the airport right now...AJ's all comfy up front while I'm crammed in the back....kinda like it back here near the luggage...I tend to gravitate towards small spaces anyways =) Hey spread the word to ur friends about the new website....its welcome to all! Btw sorry if I keep posting in semi text form..I know "ur" is spelled "your" or "you're", I'm just used to it!

Alright, I'm in D.C. Hangin out backstage......being eaten alive from
every living insect on the planet! Ahh!.....so excited to have two of my
castmates from the movie I just shot come out to the show tonight.
Having some serious candy cravings right now.... HELP!!!!....must find
blow pops....gummy bears.... sweet tarts...ANYTHING! Ok, enough with my
most recent emergency. Happy early 4th of July! What the heck?!....I
love fireworks....too bad they're illegal in california or I'd be
lightin those babies off in my backyard! Oh well. Thanks to all of u who
came out to the show in hampton beach. U were an AMAZING crowd....keep u

Whaaats up?! Ok sitting backstage drinking blue frost gatorade!......the only good kind btw. Had a nice lil sleepy on the plane ride over here to Ohio. AJ and I stayed up way too late last night watching this crappy movie called the mist....don't rent it....unless u already have, and to u I'm sorry u wasted 5 dollars. Ha! We rode some roller coasters yesterday in the park. We were having an awesome time till we ended up geting stuck on not one, but BOTH rides!.....hmmmm conspiracy maybe? lol Xo aly

Hey everyone! Welcome to the new official website! It feels like it’s been forever…but no worries though, we promise to make up for lost time. We’ve been writing for the new record everyday and have been working with some amazingly talented people! We feel like we have some strong stuff to share with the world! Anyways, other than that we’ve been working on our tans (since us musicians don’t see the light of day much) haha, catching up with our friend Emma and reading lots of books and scripts. This is the first summer we’ve had in years!…sick
