I will always cherish special memories of Farrah. I played her granddaughter on the CBS show called "The Guardian." She treated me so kindly and became a mentor to me. She inspired me as a young actor and it was an honor to work with her so closely. I will always cherish her words and the first piece of jewelry that she ever designed and gave to me as a young child, will forever be a sentimental keepsake. In memory of Farrah Fawcett whom I love dearly...xo AJ

Out with Aly and friends bringing in the New Year! Thank you for being the greatest fans ever! We are so stoked about our upcoming record! We are taking our time and writing massive songs to cut them down to the tracks that will end up as the final cuts. The record is going to reflect our thoughts and feelings.
2009 is going to be a great year and I am wishing the same for all of you who have been so generous with your support and love. Let's make it a SICK year!

Hope you're all having a day filled with happiness and thanksgiving! We're actually home this year with the family which has been nice. We cooked such a yummy dinner. Our turkey's better than your turkey! Ha! We are so grateful to those of you who have been with us since the beginning as well as everyone who may have just stumbled upon us. You all mean so much to us and we are blessed to have such smart, kind, and enthusiastic fans! Get some rest cuz 09 is gonna be ridiculous and we need your support and love.

Sup guys, sorry this is a lil late, but we hope everyone had an awesome Halloween! Aly and I dressed up as Mary-Kate and Ashley (see pics here) Haha. Classic. Carried around venti Starbucks cups all night, everyone figured it out. Weren't making fun, dig those girls, just having a good time :) Max Azria invited us to his place for a party, had a blast. We decided to hold a costume contest, so for those of you who submitted pics, we loved them! Sick, super creative. We ended up picking Megan Miller and her friend who dressed up as a washer and dryer, love the imagination and creativity, for sure something Aly and I would do. Second place went to Brandi Terrell as Chuckie. So scary!! Wow! Freaked out! Check out the winning costume pics above! Thanks for sending your pics in, you guys rock. Keep posting about funny or weird stuff that happened to you that night in the comments or on the message board!

Hi people! I know there's been lots of anticipation lately but you guys are gonna flippin dig this new record. It won't be out till next year, we really don't know when, just know that we don't wanna rush it.
Believe me it'll be worth the wait :) We're writing so many songs, they're basically coming out of our ears. Gonna be super picky over what should make the record & what shouldn't. The geniuses we've been working with have been so inspiring & we've learned so much. Also been reading such good scripts lately! Lots of great movies are gonna start shooting early next year :) Love the fall, in Cali it doesn't really exist but crank up the AC & light the fireplace to fake some coziness haha Looking forward to visiting my boyfriend in Vail Colorado, going to see him kick some butt on the ice playing hockey. Hey guys! So sorry we haven't blogged in a bit, we suck hehe We've been up to some really cool stuff recently that's been keeping us effing busy :)
Went to the Teen Vogue party a couple weeks ago, caught up with some friends we hadn't seen in a long time. The dresses we wore we're probably one of our fav red carpet looks, wore Luella, such a great designer. Went to the Esquire party for Rock The Vote, had a great time. We'll post a picture or two soon.
This upcoming election is super important. Aly will be able to vote for the first time :) For any of you who are old enough, make sure you register to vote! Attended the AmberWatch event where we passed on the gavel to Selena Gomez as the new chairman for the youth coalition. We are now apart of the celebrity coalition. Such a great charity, means a lot to us!
We've kind of been on a concert buzz lately. Went to The Raconteurs show a couple weeks ago with a friend & our lead guitar player. Amazing show.
Jack White is insanely talented as well as the other guys in the band.
Last night we saw Cheap Trick, Heart & Journey at the Greek. They all killed it. Nothing like some classic music. Need more! Headed to NY soon for lots of editor meetings. Haven't been there in awhile, It'll be fun.

Tokyo's Psycho! We had an amazing time! The culture there is so incredible. We especially love the people, they are so polite and giving. We will never forget our experience there, not to mention the fashion. The streets resembled a runway show, we were blown away. Hope you dig the pics, can't wait to go back. Peace ~ Aly & AJ ~

Just finished an amazing last show of our summer tour in Chicago...such a dope crowd, thanks to the 8,500 people who came to watch us play in some crazy heat! Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Aly & I had a blast! We spent time in Detroit, since we had a show there today. We were able to see some close friends, watch some dope fireworks & eat fruit roll ups & gushers. It was super chill & it was great just to not do anything for a day. Getting on the plane to leave for our last show on our summer tour.

What's up?
In Ohio right now, getting ready backstage, about to soundcheck. Hands are shaking from too much red bull...whoops hehe Summer tour's going great, so stoked about the new record, think you guys will dig it. More pics are coming soon. Yesterday was nuts, we went on rides after the show & got stuck for like 20 minutes on both of them. Not chill! One of the rides tilted you forward to where you were almost upside down, & of course that's the exact part we had to get stuck. Hopefully that won't happen again! Hey everyone! Welcome to the new official website! It feels like it’s been forever…but no worries though, we promise to make up for lost time. We’ve been writing for the new record everyday and have been working with some amazingly talented people! We feel like we have some strong stuff to share with the world!
